All images on our site are in public domain because their copyright has expired. This applies to the United States, Canada, the European Union and the countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years.
Our database contains hundreds of images, so If you find any image that you believe to be under copyright protection, please contact us immediately. BOOKER Contemporary Art Gallery respects copyright laws and any copyrighted image found on our database is immediately removed.
In addition, faithful reproductions of two-dimensional original works cannot attract copyright in the U.S. according to the rule in Bridgeman Art Library vs. Corel Corp.
Your order could be refunded and canceled…
If your order is put in to processing and it is found that a new copyright, or specific license has been attached to it. You WILL be immediately notified of the inability for us to move forward with your order an immediately refunded.
Order Acceptance for Custom Orders:
For clients placing custom orders, they must certify that they have the right to reproduce any images they may provide (that the images are in public domain or that they have permission to reproduce them) and that they administer the right to us, to reproduce them.
Our paintings are not photographic reproductions and will differ from the originals in size, signature, brushstrokes and other details. Responsibility to ensure that the images are in public domain, that their use is within fair use provisions or that any copyright permissions required have been granted, remains with the customer.
